# Installation and Getting Started

Start using Oden from the portal-first flow, or fall back to manual installation and license activation.

Start here when you are setting up Oden for the first time. The preferred flow is portal-first: create or open your Voysys portal account, create the vehicle/operator setup there, then use the generated installer and project configuration.
